I too used the 3m product on the inside of my trunk and the fenderwells. It looks great and didn't get little hairline cracks in it like some of the cheaper brands available at the local auto store. I actually bought 3 different brands and sprayed test panels. The 3M was the clear winner.

p.s. I'm always running tests like that. Let me know if you want the clear winner for corrosion control of exposed or non-exposed steel.
