I'm working on a hardtop for my Cobra and I didn't like the raw fiberglass look on the inside so I used Bondo body filler, and sanded it to a smooth finish. If you use West Systems epoxy resin mixed with microlight fairing filler, it will also work but the drying time is a lot longer than Bondo. This also works well on finising off the inside of your hood, to show it off when its opened.
