Default AC Car Auction

A few of us guys are headed to AC tomorrow for the following show/auction. Lots of great vendors too. Promo says Carroll Shelby will be there on Sat. I really don't care about Shelby or his marketing tour but really like to see the cars and shop the vendors.

Anyone wanting to meet up for lunch or whatever can give me a shout at roscoe@priveye.com

Below is blurb from the guy running the auction

Honoring In Person, America's Automotive Legend, Carroll Shelby! G. Potter King will honor Mr. Carroll Shelby on Saturday, February 22, 2003.

Mr. Shelby is America's foremost automotive giant-not to mention genius. His Cobra has attained worldwide status as one of the most sought after sports cars.

He personally is responsible for the G.T. 350 Shelby Mustang and its bigger brother the Shelby G.T. 500. An "R" model Shelby Mustang modified for races was also produced in 1965. Only about 25 were produced.

No muscle car from the 60s had an appeal and performance of the Shelby Cobra 427. Only 356 were produced, but they have endured for 25 years.

A special sale of a Shelby S.R.I. will be offered at "No Reserve"! The car is registered to Mr. Shelby and is registered as #1.
