You guys really know how to throw a party! From the welcoming tents with real Louisana Gumbo, to the gearhead discussions with Jay and the guys in the bar over real Shiner Bock, to the nice compliments about my VERY dirty car, to the cruise where you made opportunities for us to pass (we were hungry

) to the unforgettable baby back ribs at the Gristmill, it was first class all the way. David and I were truly impressed with everyone we met and had a great time.
Special thanks to Doug Reed who spent time with us and answered all my questions about running (and winning) the One Lap and everyone who stopped by to meet us.
My only regret was that I did not have time to meet everyone, especially the owner of the silver Cobra with the black stripe and the SOHC 427. If you read this please tell us the story of how you acquired that awesome engine and squeezed it into your ERA.
Texans ROCK!
