Wheelcraft Pin Drive Wheels
Rodney,
While I'm not sure if you've sold these wheels or not, I have a couple of thoughts that may help you in selling them as I too have the exact same Wheelcraft (OEM Superformance supplier) Cobra wheels on my Factory Five Racing Cobra.
1. Note that the wheel sizes are stamped onto the face of each wheel. Correct sizes as measured from the tire bead (not wheel lip) are:
- fronts: 15x7.5 inches
- rears: 15x9.5 inches
2. Bolt patterns are flexible as each wheel adapter has 2 sets of holes (10 holes per adapter) with the 2 options being 5 on 4.5 inches or 5 on 4 3/8 inches
3. Backspacing is also measured from hub of wheel to tire bead (not bottom of wheel lip):
- fronts: 3.75 inches of backspacing
- rears: 3.5 inches of backspacing
These wheels are visually identical to Trigos and the only main difference is the additional 0.25 inches of backspacing on the front of the wheels. As I am not familiar with the manufacturing processes of Trigo vs. Wheelcraft, there may be manufacturing differences that impact wheel strength, weight, etc.
Keep in mind that most people are willing to pay a premium for Trigos. But, I'm not sure that Wheelcraft can command the same pricing premium as Trigo - particularly for a used set of wheels and tires.
While I won't publicly post the price I gave for my Wheelcraft wheels and tires, it was less than your posted price. You might want to post these for sale on FFCobra.com and ClubCobra.com forums. I will vouch for you with the Factory Five guys that these wheels will fit our cars if you'd like me to do so.
Reason I post this is for wheel size accuracy and the reality of selling used wheels. I recently sold a set of slightly used BMW wheels and can understand your situation, but a lower price should move them quickly.
Regards,
Drew
