Not really.
I'm not sure where the
oil pressure pick-up point was located on your 390, but mine (427 SO) is located at the adapter where the
oil filter would normally mount to the block (I have a remote-mounted filter). Assuming the sensor pick-up point is in the same location, nothing should differ from the 390. The only real difference in the oiling systems is in the way the
oil distributes throughout the block.
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
