I saw a picture a while back of a Hell's Angel who put a cherry bomb in his mouth and lit it. It was not pretty but I doubt it was nearly as painful as what you went through.

Did the Sheriff in the picture have something to do with the Big Bend Open Road Race? We ran the Highway 285, 64 mile course from Fort Stockton south, on the way to Austin. Are you involved with the event? I'd love to run it sometime.
