Just wanna chime in here....
I don't own a snake yet, but one of the reasons I am trying to swing one now is because of a car I saw at a Super Ford meet at Milan Dragway, Milan Michigan, about 16 years ago...
I don't know whos kit it was, I do know it had a fairly heavily built (but still streetable) 428 in it. It had an IRS, and slicks. I saw this Cobra pull consistant 10.8 second quarter miles, can't remember the top speeds but it was moving... He was giving some of the drag-cars that he was up against a very hard time.... Ever since then.............
Ironically, at that meet, I was driving the car that had the FE motor that I am now preparing for MY Cobra....
