Don't knock the police for doing their jobs. True, they have some jerks just like every other profession but most that I have delt with have been courteous and helpful. And with the way today's society is, you can't blame them for taking extra precautions. I had of all things an automatic dialer short about a year ago and of course it dialed 911 about 4 times. The first thing I knew there were 5 patrol cars at my house. Fortunately I knew most of the cops and we looked together until I tracked it down to the one in the back bedroom. They were more concerned about me being ok than any hostage or something like that and I had my computer on and could see that the call did come from my house. I was pulled over by the CHP while in the Cobra and I was wearing my gun. I just told the officer that I was carrying a gun and that I had permits and he told me don't worry, all I want to do is look at the car. But what if I had just jumped out with the gun showing. He would have had to make an assumption that I was maybe going to try to use it. So don't blame all for what a few are like.
