I know this only adds fuel to the fire, and I recounted this story about 1 year ago, but, I was at SAI in January,2002 and the tour guide showed me one of these chassis'. He categorically stated that these were original 1965 frames. I couldn't believe me ears and asked him if he was sure - he said yes.
Disclaimer - I like Mr. Shelby and appreciate his contributions. He is what he is. Enzo wasn't a saint either - but I respect them both for what they did.
