Why would there be negative comments? You're learning the limits of your car in exactly the appropriate place. Good on you!
There's nothing quite like hitting a big sweeper at high speed, drifting through it with all four tires screaming away, inches from the apex, then recovering exactly at the exit under full throttle right at the edge of the track. It takes a few spins before it all comes together. But, when it does, MAN!
I recommend that you stick with the street tires until you get really comfortable putting clean laps together. Once you move to slicks, the risks and the speed goes much higher.
