Never fear. Evan is here.

Based on what I know CAV's are shipped by CAV to some participating Shelby Dealers and finished by some SAI dealers. CAV rolling chasis shipped by CAV to SAI dealer and the dealer finishes the car for the customer.

They are not seen as a competing product I guess because SAI does not make a GT40. The GT 40 was Fords baby and is Fords baby. Shelby may not be licensed make the GT40. It wasn't a Shelby, wasn't designed by Shelby, wasn't built by Shelby. The Cobras were Shelby's babies.

It could be there is some understanding between CS and Ford allowing his dealers to sell the CAV's. Maybe Ford doesn't care. Who knows.

Its natural to allow CAV to become a CSX dealer. By licensing CAV I understand they are licensing them to sell Shelby Cobras ie. CSX's shipped to them from SAI as they would be shipped to any other dealer.

Wheres the confusion???? What don't you guys get???This is not quantum physics.

Sorry Gordon: I think your confused. But hope does spring eternal. I think you are confusing endorment of a product with licensing. If Shelby licensed B&B (which they won't since they sell a replica which competes with the Cobra) B&B could become a dealer too and they would be able to sell CSX's supplied by Shelby. Also I don't see CS endorsing the B&B's anytime soon. Sorry Gordon. (Dooooh!)

You guys are really funny.
