hey guys, The piece was in a small white box included in the large box with my TKO. My TKO was shipped dry, so maybe it is some sort of shipping plug. The box has a part number on it...2606154 and says "oil deflector". It is described as a metal ring 3.25in. across with black rubber in the middle and a 3/8in. hole in the rubber. I have just completed my Cobra and have been doing shake down runs with no problems. I have found no leaks and the Tremec shifts great! Just got to wondering what this extra piece was. It looks like it would fit over the tail shaft allowing the trany to be shipped with fluid in it. Still curious. thanks guys
