Thumbs up Here's my plan...

I have a spare wheel and tire ready in the garage.. (one front, one rear) so before any long road trip, I will slap a jack under each wheel, and inspect the tire.. any metal found embedded, and I will just swap that wheel/tire out.

On the road a can or two of "fix-a-flat" and a small compressor (maybe the plug repair kit too) should do the trick.

Then there's AAA

You should not need a spare with the above. It's just something to clutter up your tiny trunk.
