Quick explanation-
The 1965 production was supposed to be 100 Comp cars...they screwed up and didn't get it done. They built 51 cars and 2 loose chassis-onlys, numbered CSX3001 thru CSX3053.
CSX3054 and 3055 went for development, both RH drive...one ended up the Super Coupe.
CSX3063 went to Ghia and was built as a show car.
...and that was that for the First Coil-car production run.
Mid 1965, they commenced the Street Car run and started numbering at CSX3101, and ran to the end, CSX3360.
The
UNUSED numbers in the CSX30xx sequence became the premise for the "completion" cars, twenty some-odd years later. CSX3056 was the completion car prototype.
