The new crank out there is the SCAT piece with 4.25" stroke and 2.200" journals. It's designed to work with either the 6.700" or 6.800" BBC rods. This requires pistons having a .990" pin instead of the normal .975" pin. This combination makes a nice 482 C.I. combination with 9.4:1 compression using a 39 cc "D" shaped dish in the piston.
