Hi Lownlazy,
I'm very happy with the quality and engineering of the Classic Revival kit. Ian makes a top quality product and I'd certainly reccomend one of his kits. (I'm biased though since I bought one
)
David,
All I can say mate is "keep the faith". You would never be satisfied with the Monaro. A new Monaro is still just a drive off the showroom floor, every one's got one tin top. The Cobra is an Icon and in a league of it's own. BTW I can't see anything wrong with Sloth's wheels either. I love the look of em and I'll be using the same thing.
Stepehen,
I picked up my LS1 from Eagle on Saturday (WooHoo!!) While I was there I was checking out the new 4.6 Mustang motors they had. They do a complete motor and trans for $12K or $9K for just the motor. Looking at the LS1 and the 4.6 sitting side by side and the 4.6 is huge!! It seems to be a wider V (could be an ilusion) and the OHC heads are very fat making the whole thing very wide.
I was chatting with one of the owners of Robnel the other day and I was asking him about this 3 Year old engine rule. He thinks that it may be repealed since it has been so unpopular in the industry. We can only hope.
Cheers
