My wife who has not expressed any interest in a car in her life fell in love with a Cobra the first time she saw one. It is poetry standing still or in motion. It is a merger of form and function. The experience of being in one or around one is viseral and primal. As expensive as one is to build and keep, it is one of the best buys that can be had for performance, beauty, and fun. It is not practical, but it is not bought or used for practicality. It is bought and used out of pure love. It is also a people magnet. If you do not like people, do not have a Cobra. If you like meeting people, the Cobra gets attention. Having a Cobra is not a rational act. Having a Cobra is an emotinal experience that defies justification or explanation. If you have to ask why, no explanation will do. The reasons are not intellectual but experential.
