One thing for sure, nobody was thinking like this in the 60's. They were just TRYING to sell the them and move on to whatever came next.

,,,,will they still be "Shelbys" when Carol passes on? Whats in a name anyway? There still Ferraris, there still Porsches. Maybe it won't make a difference. I expect at least a "temporary" jump in price across the board. But I suspect the market prices will stabilize in a short time and DROP on some models following that.

The BIG winners in the end will be those cars that are really "accurate" in their details. Glass cars will still sell fine, but will clearly be an "also ran".

Boltes car and other "non Kirkham" metal cars are the tough call here. Will they be extra ordinary because of their even more rare position? Early cars worth more than late cars?
