Goes to show we are all different,,I am cutting my scoop and riveting on another one,the original s/c hoods were street rdstr hoods with a hole cut and a scoop riveted over,,thats why spf does it,it is much cheaper and easier to just mold it in like most replicas do,as far as the scoop size,,I detest larger ones on a cobra,,I was about to ditch my high rise set up insteed of redoing the scoop for air cleaner clearance,,but I relized it wasnt the scoop,,it all worked out,,so,,personal preference I suppose,,but to me it is sort of like painting ghost flames on a benz,,,looks like an abomination,,my personal opnion,,Tk
