Well, Ernie, probably you are (as usual) correct, especially if you are hit by an F350 diesel dually. But, if you simply go off the road into an embankment, perhaps no. Watson Roadsters were quite high and large, and their drivers died at an alarming rate. New technology Indy cars that are very low and collapsible can hit a wall at 200 mph, and the driver walks away. So, while I agree that you are generally a sitting duck in a Cobra, size doesn't always matter if you are otherwise well protected. (I realize this is not a fair comparison, it is made for discussion purposes only).

And Evan, you are right. If your frame accordian collapses, you sure better hope you steering column does likewise. Gives new meaning to the term "cardiac catheterization".

As for back on thread, what do you think the meaning of the no sale at $91k means? What will it be 1 yr from now?
