clk2,
I have the CHP "427 Classic" that you are thinking about. I went with the base package with no upgrades what so ever. I have had it done and on the road for about 3 months now. I ordered it through their local distributor. Took a little longer to get than they said it would but I think that it was well worth the wait. With sending it to the distributor I was able to do the break in on the dyno so I have a baseline that this engine puts out. We hit 529HP @ 5700 RPM and 535 ft/lbs of Torque @4700 RPM. Very good in my opinion for a Windsor. On the road it is very drivable and doen't have any problems with any aspect of driving. Not sure of my current milage averages, my speedo is slightly off right now. One of my concerns was with having the warrenty, I wanted something with one if I was to plunk down a large amount of cash, you just can't go wrong with it. You will be very sastified with CHP in my opinion.
Good luck,
Todd
