First off, they were not basically the same bike. But we'll leave that argument for another day.
Otherwise, this is not a fair comparison. AMF was building bowling alley equipment (I know they built more than that, but you get my point) when they bought Harley and knew about as much about building/marketing motorcycles as you know about brain surgery in outer space.

think FFR has shown as least
some of us that they know the replica market! This would be a 'hand in glove' situation as opposed to a 'bowling ball in a diaper'!
