Let's see if I can apply this theory to something else.. let's say the Ford Mustang. The first Ford Mustang was produced as a 1964 1/2 Mustang, it's an original real Mustang. 1965 Mustang wasn't refered to as a replica nor has any year after, hell stopped producing the Mustang for a period of time and gave us that lovely little car the Mustang II, still not refered to as a replica, unreal or unoriginal. Ford still makes the Mustang and it's not the same as the 1964 1/2 but still is a Mustang. Ford in the many years that they have produced the Mustang the suppliers of the parts of those cars have change as well as the Mfg plants, but Ford still sell the cars they call Mustang not Mustang Replicas. No matter where the parts come from, where they are assemble, which Ford dealership they are sold from, they are all still known as a Ford Mustang.

In the 60's Shelby American made Cobras, then they stop making them, in the late 90's Shelby American started making Cobras again. Just because they are buying they parts from a different supplier and the final assembly is done in Las Vegas doesn't make them less real or for that matter original just a different year of production.

This point of view is from a very happy owner of a Factory Five original 427 Roadster, what's this world coming to.

This might be a long thread.
