Car News briefs: Shelby set to confront Venture;

"Carroll Shelby says he hasn’t received any money from Venture in two and a half years, he blames Venture for the fall of the Series 1, and says he has set an April 15 deadline for Venture to pay up or else. Venture Industries has filed for bankruptcy.

So is that the end of the Cobra?

“Carroll Shelby will continue to build Cobras and will continue to honor agreements from those who have made deposits,” says Shelby.

Exactly where and how he will build those Cobras, along with details of the new Series 2, will come in the next exciting installment of this story. "

- not sure why this is dated May 22, but the article say Shelby's deadline is April 15th, but....
