Here is how to get here.
I-35 North to exit 261 (Hwy 29 or "University Drive"). There is an HEB as you are heading West on University Drive. Pass the HEB, through the first light (Scenic Drive) and to the second traffic light. This is "Austin Ave" and there is an "
Oil Exchange" on the corner. Turn left here on Austin Ave. At the next light is 8th Street. Turn right (West). You are now on the square with the giant courthouse on your left. Continue West on 8th Street for 2 blocks. Look for the red awning that says "Alvin's Sandwich Shop" on your right.
