It is a toploader out of a 66 fairlane with a 2.78 low, I had already looked that up before. But that really doesn't matter because I know every one of the toploaders on your list are 1 to 1 high (4th) so they will all be "geared correctly for highway". With a 1 to 1 high like almost all transmissions that are not an overdrive you "gear correctly for the highway" with your rear end gears. I do have some of the overdrive toploaders also and I am not going to use them because the jump between gears is very big. Thanks for your help with the bellhousing though.
