After reading this latest "shin kicker" I am hard pressed to find any consideration which is not esthetic in nature.

Go out into your garage and look at your car......These are based on OLD cars, OLD cars with OLD engines ...OLD trannies OLD suspension....OLD seats....OLD wheels........THATS WHY WE LOVE EM !!......argueing the current RACE viability of any of these replicas or originals is laughable........more so if any of us are driving.

You can max these things out with the best race equipment available and they are still an OLD car design. ....Race cars??? they were certainly designed for little else .....but that was 40 years ago.

There are of course race formats for replica cobras and I'll bet most people doing it are having a great time. ...The results however will not be found on Sportcenter........and I'll bet no one is running big blocks of any kind!


Would I give up a tiny bit of torsional rigidity so i can LOOK at a 4" round tube frame ....Heck yea !

Id pay $500 to watch you guys race your cars....for an hour..I'd bet I would pi$$ my pants laughing.
