Not a Tremec 3550. The Cobra tranny was just another iteration of the T-5. It is stronger than all the T-5's before it. I still have the original T-5 in my 95 Cobra that has lived with 330 - 400 RWHP for 94K miles. I did put a hardened input shaft on it though. A note of caution: The 94-95 T-5's have a longer input shaft than 87-93. Hence they require a different bell housing. If you get this tranny, go ahead and put a 87-93 hardened input shaft on it. It will increase strength and allow you to run a 87-93 lakewood or McCleod scattershield. There is no aftermarket bell for 94-95.
