Your #'s come out to a 27% loss to the rear wheels from the advertised hp #'s. I have talked to some that say a 25% loss in "normal" thru an IRS rear end,so your #'s are pretty much in line. A little tweaking of the motor should or could get you some more hp,maybe 25 to 35 hp depending on the timing and carb setting....
Did they make any adjustments to your motor (timing/jetting),if not, I would have it checked again maybe after you take delivery and see exactly how it's performing.. I believe you will like the combo you have a little more than the 514 combo,depending on what you plan to do with the car. I have talked to a few that have the 514 combo and they say it is not real "street" friendly and have talked to a couple of guys with the 460 combo that just absolutely love it. You should have all the power you need for anything except all out racing,then you probably would still have enough for that also...
