I just built a 427 stroker from an after market Dart block, AFR 205 heads and 48IDA Weber carb induction system. You need to talk with Micky at Inglese Induction sytems (
www.inglese.com) and Dave at Cam Techniques (
www.camtechniques.com). Cam Techniques grinds many different cams for Inglese specifically for Weber systems. The cam for my application is a Cam Techniques HR-352. The 48IDA Weber carb induction system is an isolated runner system. Without a main plenum area , common to all cylinders, the cam profile is extremely important. This weber system needs a single profile cam (int/exh lift and duration are the same) and a lobe seperation of around 110deg. A roller cam is even a better choice for it will give you better idle qualities.
