I just built a 427 stroker from an after market Dart block, AFR 205 heads and 48IDA Weber carb induction system. You need to talk with Micky at Inglese Induction sytems (www.inglese.com) and Dave at Cam Techniques (www.camtechniques.com). Cam Techniques grinds many different cams for Inglese specifically for Weber systems. The cam for my application is a Cam Techniques HR-352. The 48IDA Weber carb induction system is an isolated runner system. Without a main plenum area , common to all cylinders, the cam profile is extremely important. This weber system needs a single profile cam (int/exh lift and duration are the same) and a lobe seperation of around 110deg. A roller cam is even a better choice for it will give you better idle qualities.
