It has come to my attention that the use of coolants containing antifreeze will not be allowed at Roebling Road on any day that cars running slicks are going to be on the track. This is going to mean nothing to the Porsche 911 crowd, but for you water cooled guys, you have to drain your cooling system and replace with water, and you can add the redline NASCAR stuff if so inclined. Save your antifreeze if you want and replace it or whatever, but this is something that will be checked. Sorry for the late notice on this.
The schedule above is preliminary. It seems complicated, as do most things when we try to write them down. This is a standard schedule with 20, 30, or 60 minute sessions.
20 minutes is a LONG time on a track.
It will be important to be in your car, on the pre grid, ready to go out 5 minutes before your session starts. The alternative to the above schedule would be 30 minutes on, 1 hour off, all day long.I also can add more run groups if someone feels that there is not a perfectly suited group existing now. A standard HSR event has 9 groups and a driver only gets to go out twice per day, so if anything, this is a LOT of track time per driver.
The way that the passing rules/color tape identification ought to work is:
Do not pass a taped car without a waveby.
Do not wave someone by until you are ready for them to pass.
Do not bunch up , wait for your INDIVIDUAL waveby
Do not go out without the tape ( on or about tag area)
Do not go so fast that you do not see the tape.
Do not run in mixed groups if not comfortable( like all Ford )
Do not get carried away with yourself, this aint no race
ANY suggestions would be appreciated now versus complaints later, or even worse, silent dissatisfaction.
