We got the thumbs down by the track on the drag racing aspect of the event, due to the fact that if there was an incident during that time, it would not be covered by their insurance. Sorry , especially to John Owen, the probable winner.
Also, I can't find any yellow duct tape, so I'm going to have to revise our schedule ,and run group colors, plus make it more simple if possible.
I heard from Gene Felton's Mechanic/friend Woody, and he told me Gene looks forward to the Willis each year more than any other event for some reason, and that he is coming for sure. I'm happy about that and can't wait for you guys to meet Gene.
