Thanks for your reply. I was in the SF area three weeks ago. Visited with a gentleman that has an original 427 s/o. He bought it new in 1965 for $6,500.

He turned down $450,000 for it the week I was there. He cranks it and runs it once a month and drives it in his driveway only. As he said to me, if you see a guy driving an original on the street, he is very dumb. Some idiot could crash into the car and then how much is it worth?

I am going to check out the Aviaid pan.
