In it's own way, an interesting car, I suppose. The "provenance" just doesn't seem to mean that much to the collectors.
Problem is, if this car was offered for sale in the late 80's early 90's before the proliferation of aluminium Shelbys and Kirkhams on the market (all for significantly less than $160K) it probably would do significantly better.
Today, there's just too much out there, most for significantly less money. But, as my dear friends Dad (a Mercedes dealer for 30 years) used to say.... "There's an a$$ for every seat....."
So who knows?
