I'm running a 390 with 60 over. It has a 67 Shelby GT500 dual quad intake with twin Edelbrock 600's on highly relieved iron heads. KickAss performance with terrific streetability. I do believe that a single quad will give better performance and is a whole lot easier to setup. With duals you'll have twice the teardown effort, time, and calibration parts costs.

Having said that - You can't beat the impressive look of duals.
