Like most of you, I am still 18, but total 46 birthdays. I've been a car guy all my life and fell in love with a Shelby Cobra when I was 11 or 12. Life being what it is, I only recently reached that station in life when I felt I could spend the cash on my dream. It was not a mid-life crisis; it was the fulfillment of what I'd yearned for over 3 decades ago. So, I did my homework, studied all the kits, considered the investment of time and money - and bought my Superformance in October 1999. I haven't looked back yet and believe I bought the best car on the market. Oh, and it's blindingly fast and corners better under power than any car I've ever driven.
