Default It aint about being a "new" guy.......

Some have taken "cheap shots" at super kit car, others have raised valid concerns. The very nature of the thread lends itself to controversy at best.

One thing is for sure:
This is NOT the first 427 S.O. offered for sale around here. And NOT the first 427 S.O. engine to be analyzed from every possible angle. And there HAVE BEEN some engines offered for sale that (in my opinion) were NOT what they were claimed to be.

ANYBODY offering a 427 S.O. for sale should expect some close scrutiny mixed with a healthy dose of "skepticism". It just comes with the territory, these are valuable engines and important to the nature of the "Cobra Clan".

A new or senior user making such claims would be "challenged" in much the same way. Aint the first time, won't be the last!

EDIT:
RECENTLY there was a thread about the 427 Alloy Shelby engine offered for sale on e-bay. As that thread developed it became clear this guy was a complete fraud. He was eventually banned from e-bay, and many were calling for his arrest and prosecution. I can think of a senior member that is not all "that welcome" around here anymore for making "unsubstantiated claims" concerning 427 S.O.'s for sale.

I DO believe super kit car is sincere and he makes a STRONG case for his motor being what he says it is. Which is a breath of fresh air after some of the "so called" 427 S.O.'s we've seen for sale around here in the past!
