That block, yours too Steve should run 180/190. Over 200 and it is starting to get hot, 220 and it IS hot, 230 and up could do serious damage. EFI engines are made and need to run hotter.

Guys with small blocks, especially running "oil coolers" are probably doing more damage to their motor than they realize.

Ask Bob about this... a "certified" opinion!

DV...if ya gotta have an oil cooler and your oil temp aint gettin' to at least 190/200 block it off!
