I had a Corvette with the F1 and another with the GSC's.

I could not stand either tire. After 10,000 miles they turned to noisy trash. They lasted 22,000 to 25,000 miles and I was so glad to replace them.

I replaced the GSC's (93 Vette) with Dunlop D40M2 (Sport 8000 predecessor) I went through two sets, because they were awesome! Way better grip wet and dry and silent! They lasted about 15,000 miles. But the 8000's will last longer.

I replaced the F1's with Bridgestone Pole Position S03, wow! They are by far the best tires I ever had! Traction control and active handling seemed like the were not there anymore because they never needed to come on anymore. Off the line traction, conering, eveything was so superior to the F1, it was not even funny. It was like I lowered the car and changed the suspension geometry, it handled so much better!
