Tim,

I took mine off and I think it was about 2" but I don't think it was shaped like an "L" perhaps it looked more like a "W". I didn't have enough room for a clutch arm so I went with a hydraulic throw out bearing. Good luck!

PS-If I remember correctly the clutch arm requires a lever to push it back and is attached to the drivers side rear of the block. I still have my clutch lever but I haven't found my pivot braclet that attaches with two flat head 1/4" screws inside your Lakewood bellhousing. If I find it tonight you are welcome to both parts.
