Thanks for the info. Jamvan is generally correct. What I am trying to find out though is what is entailed with the "extensive inspection"? For instance, as I understand it, you are first required to submit all of your paperwork to DMV and then you must bring your car to a special inspection station to have a safety inspection. If the inspector signs off and says your car is road worthy, then the state issues you a title. I am wondering if anyone has taken their car through the DMV process and could tell me what exactly the inspectors look for when they do the safety inspection before they issue the title.
