Rich,

I do not know if anyone has put a DFV in a Cobra. AC would be the folks to ask.

If it were me, a 1981 vintage DFL (Normally aspirated Group C engine 3.9 liters, 620hp at 11,500.) would be the choice.

Or, for the criminally insane, a DFL Turbo motor (Group C, 3.9 liters, horsepower dependant on boost knob, rumored to be in the 1000 bhp range for qualifying.)

Either of these engines would be perfect in a JBL chassis. I would also be quite willing to design up the mounts for a Hewland MVE-STA 6 speed to go along with these engines.

Ok, now who is going to step up to the plate and build one of these devils?
