Fender padding and
oil cooler done today. Guages tomorrow and Battery hook-up tomorrow. Then Engine/Tranny install which would probably happen no sooner than week after next. Port matching exhaust headers to exhaust ports and need to finish heads and put on short block.
Then the slow stuff. Driveshaft measuring and fabrication--probably 2 weeks...I prepaid the Kirkhams for one and we want the EXACT measurement. Simultaneuosly the exhaust is going to be a pain. Cut hole in fender, tack weld mounting brackets and exhaust/header holder clamps. Sand and coat exhaust. Reassemble.
Long story short--I think it is another month or so. What was I smoking thinking this thing could have been done in time for DVSFIII
