Bryan,
Don't be intimidated windshield replacement is a pretty simple process. Do a search on "windshield" you'll find a step be step process that I placed a while ago. If you can trace the pattern of the inside of your windshield frame, add 1/4" border all the way around for the glass (plastic) to fit in the frame and take your pattern to a plastics shop (I used TAP). Check with your local TAP Plastics they may work with you and make the replacement if you take the frame in. (Scratch resistant Lexan in a size suitable for a windshield ran me about $120 acouple of years ago and I did all of the cutting)
