Lew, remember that the S/C's were a way for SA to dispose of the unsold first run of Comp cars, which were all set up with quick-jacks. I'm not aware of any delivered with over-riders or hoop bumpers.

Was it an option? ...I guess. SA was so eager to get rid of these cars, you could have spec'd anything you wanted.

To be perfectly accurate, as a race car, you would use quick-jacks...
...but...

CSX3025, a famous black poster car, has had front and rear bumpers most of its existence.
CSX3030 currently has full bumpers.
CSX3035, Dick Smith's car, has full-width "push bumpers", front and rear.
CSX3040, in a museum in Austrailia, has over-riders, but no hoops.
