Angry er....

I was browsing search engines for my site and I came across this forum message on Google.

I'm a bit taken back by this suggestion that I posted this top post about my own site.

Not to start a flame war, but this thread has some serious issues that I will address:

First of all... do you know how many people live in Atlanta? The chance that someone in Atlanta posted this message is not that much of a stretch being that Interland, Air2Web, and the second largest internet service provider, EarthLink, is located in Atlanta? Not to mention how many other technology jobs are located here.

Secondly, how do you know that the person that made that post is from Atlanta? I see nothing in the profile that would suggest his/her location.

As for your question: "Do you think that playing people off as being really stupid is the right way to advertise your web site. I think not. Don't go away mad, just go away"... I don't think anyone here is stupid, because this is my first post and I know nothing about anyone here. Your suggestion that I have done this is at the least unprofessional and completely without merit.

And your second statement:
"And before you say another word, perhaps I've seen the same type of posts for vettetrader.net on the Corvette forums...All linked to your same IP address.............Stupid is as stupid does............................" same ip address? **perhaps** you've seen the same types of posts in Corvette Forums? First of all, what ip is it that you are referring to? Can you link this ip to me in ANY WAY AT ALL? #1 I don't have a static IP for my internet connection, and #2, even if I did, I'm not stupid either and I do in fact, work for an technology company in Atlanta. I understand how IP's work and how they are trackable. What posts are you referring to in the Corvette Forums? If you have such information, please post the link and we can see if you really know what you are talking about. It doesn't seem that you do.

I do own both CorvetteTraderOnline.com and CollectorCarsForSale.com and there is nothing wrong with that. You can post my whois information all day long. The fact is, you have nothing to back up your derogatory suggestions that I have posted the above message in ANY attempt to try and deceive anyone in this group.

Your final post:
I just see it on the newsgroups, hate to see the same thing on this forum. if you have a business to promote, or another website, then buy a banner ad. Can't say it any simpler than that. However, for someone to come in here under the guise of "hey, look what I found", when in reality, they own the site, then that is like a slap in the face, or calling us stupid..........I just happened to point it out to anyone else who might be suckered in to his "for profit" website..............Nothing more, nothing less....................." I do promote my site legit PERIOD. If you have evidence to the contrary, then hey... post away and let's look at your supposed information. As a matter of fact, I will flat out challenge you to find even ONE time that I have not done so.

Finally, your posts concerning this thread are (I feel) derogatory to and about me and my web sites. Your suggestive remarks that I am treating people like they're stupid, and that I'm not promoting my site correctly/professionally are completely unjustified. I am in internet professional and I conduct my site, and my site promotion in a professional manner.

I would appreciate it if you would either apologize for your unfounded suggestions and edit your post, removing these condescending remarks/suggestions about me and my websites, or come up with some proof to back up what you say.

Thank you frankym for being a professional internet user.

Thank You for your time.
