just got done reading the latest Hot Rod. chock-full of stories about old big-blocks done up with efi...had a big-block Mopar running with a Ford EEC system taken straight off a 93 Mustang.
how old are you? do carbs mean anything to you? to your friends you'll be trying to impress?
it all comes down to you. what you want. both paths are well-trodden nowadays and will satisfy you performance-wise. it really really comes down to image I think.
