High volume oil pumps mean higher pressure. There is such a thing as too much pressure. Excessive pressure is of no value to rings, bearings and cams, but it will move seals. Be careful.

If you insist on the HV pump, consider 5W-30 synthetic, avoid the 20W-50 stuff.
