[Ikestaa]

Need a little help on this one. We got our 427 SO from Southern Automotive, and after it we dropped it in, I notice the carb linkage looked a little odd. It was set up so the front carb's butterflies were opening before the rear's (I would say about 15 - 20 degrees of rotation on the front, before the rear would even start to move. I adjusted them so they were equal and noticed a smoother idle and rev. Are the carbs jetted / tuned differently so that the front carb is supposed to open up first? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
